Fit notes by style — does Robell run small or large?
This is the part most size charts skip, and it's the part that actually prevents returns:
- Marie and Bella styles run generous. These are designed for a fuller figure with more room through the hip. We recommend sizing down in Marie and Bella, except in trousers with a high cotton content, where your usual size is correct.
- Rose style runs slim. This is a slim/skinny fit through the thigh and ankle. We recommend sizing up if you'd normally take your usual size in Marie or Bella.
- All other Robell styles (Nena, Jacklyn, and most others not listed above): take your usual/measured size.
- Stretch bengaline fabric (used across most Robell styles) has more give than cotton or denim — if you're between two sizes in a bengaline style, the smaller size will usually still be comfortable.
