La Luna uses four different sizing systems across its range depending on the style, so it's worth checking which one applies to the piece you're looking at. The sections below explain each one.

One Size — most La Luna clothing

The majority of La Luna styles are One Size, designed to fit IRL/UK 16–20. This includes most tops, blouses, dresses, vests, blazers and jackets. One Size doesn't mean "one size fits all" — it means the garment is cut with enough ease and stretch to comfortably accommodate the full 16–20 range without a separate fit per size.

• If you're a UK 16–20, One Size styles will fit.
• If you're above a UK 20, check the Magic Blouse (Size 2) or the Lucie Trousers (T sizing) which extend the range further.

Lucie Crop Trousers — T sizing

The Lucie Crop Trousers use La Luna's own T sizing system, where each T number corresponds to a single IRL/UK dress size. Unlike One Size styles, these are cut precisely to size:

Choose your T size based on your usual IRL/UK dress size. The trousers have an elasticated waistband and stretchy fabric, so they're comfortable within each size rather than needing to size up.

Magic Blouse — Size 2

The Magic Blouse runs on its own scale and is designed for a larger fit range than standard One Size La Luna styles:

The Magic Blouse features a chiffon overlay with a stretch jersey lining and an elasticated hemline below the tummy — designed to be particularly flattering for apple, pear and rectangle body shapes.

Grace Jogger — grouped sizing

The Grace Jogger uses grouped letter sizing:

The Grace Jogger has an elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawstring, so both sizes accommodate a range within each group.

Fit notes by style

La Luna product descriptions include shape and fit guidance specific to each style. Here's a summary of the key ones:

• Maizie Pleated Blouse: One Size (16–20). A-line silhouette with a pleated chiffon overlay — falls into an A-line at the waist, making it ideal for softening the tummy and waist area.
• Jade & Lola Lace Trim Vests: One Size (16–20). Generous fit at the hips and waist — a great layering piece worn under a blazer or on its own.
• Avery Dress: One Size, but runs slightly smaller than other La Luna One Size styles — best suited to a UK 16–20. Has a slightly A-line fit with frilled panelling at the side for shape.
• Elizabeth Sequin Vest: One Size (16–20). Loose A-line fit with a V neckline — the A-line shape is flattering across a range of body types.
• Rayne Studded Dress: One Size (16–20). Features a tie bow at the waist for a customisable, adjustable fit.
• Magic Blouse: Size 2 (22–28). Specifically designed for apple, pear and rectangle shapes — the elasticated hemline below the tummy is the key design feature.
• Isabell Oversized Knit Jumper: One Size. Relaxed, oversized fit with an asymmetrical hem — designed to be worn loose.

What size am I in the Lucie Crop Trousers?

I'm a UK 22–28 — which La Luna styles will fit me?
The Magic Blouse in Size 2 fits UK 22–28 and is the main La Luna style designed for this range. The Lucie Crop Trousers in T6–T8 cover UK 22–26. For other One Size styles (which fit UK 16–20), our store teams are happy to advise on which styles have the most generous cut.

La Luna's product descriptions often mention which body shapes a style is particularly suited to — for example, the Magic Blouse is noted as good for apple, pear and rectangle shapes. This reflects the cut and drape of the garment: an elasticated hemline below the tummy (Magic Blouse), an A-line silhouette (Maizie, Elizabeth, Avery) or a tie-waist (Rayne) all create different effects depending on where you carry your weight.
