Magna Fashion is a Dutch plus-size brand established in 1978, designing exclusively for curvy women in EU double sizes from 40/42 to 56/58 (IRL/UK 14–28). Every style uses grouped double sizing, where one garment is cut to comfortably fit two consecutive EU sizes. The table below maps each double size to its IRL/UK equivalent.

How to measure yourself

Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and close to the body.
Waist: measure at the narrowest point of your natural waist.
Hip: measure around the widest part of your hips.
Magna designs its garments with a relaxed, comfortable fit. If you're between two double sizes, size up for the most comfortable result.

Which sizes will I see on our site?

Magna products on our site are stocked primarily in sizes 40/42 through 56/58. Most Magna lines (leather-look jackets, A-line vests, tunics) run 40/42 to 52/54 or 56/58. The 58/60 grouping is less commonly stocked — check individual product pages for available sizes.

Fit notes

Leather-look jackets: the jackets on our site (the main Magna line) are cut with a relaxed, open-front style. For sizing, chest measurement is the key fit point. The double-size cut means a 44/46 will comfortably accommodate both a UK 18 and a UK 20 body.
A-line vests and tunics: relaxed A-line cuts with generous ease through the hip. These are among the most forgiving styles in the range — if you're between double sizes, the lower size will usually still be comfortable due to the A-line cut.

A UK 20 falls within Magna size 44/46 (IRL/UK 18–20).

What does double sizing mean at Magna?
Magna designs each garment to fit two consecutive EU sizes comfortably in one cut — so a 44/46 is not two separate garments, it's one design with enough ease to fit both a size 44 and a size 46 body. This is especially practical for plus-size fit, since it reduces the chance of being caught between sizes.

Does Magna run true to size?
Magna's double sizing means there's always some built-in ease. The brand designs with a relaxed, comfortable fit in mind. If you're at the larger end of a double-size group (e.g. the 46 within a 44/46), the garment should still fit comfortably but may have slightly less ease than if you're the smaller size in the group.

DPD offers a flat rate of €6.50 for a tracked parcel, while An Post charges €4.95. Both options include a generous 5kg allowance for your return. You can arrange your return here.
