Only Carmakoma is sized in EU sizes 42–54, designed specifically for fuller figures from the ground up — not scaled up from standard sizing. Most styles use individual EU sizes (42, 44, 46...), though some relaxed-fit styles group two sizes together (42/44, 46/48...) and some knitwear and leggings use S/M/L/XL. The tables below cover all three.

How to measure yourself

Chest: measure at the fullest part of the chest, tape horizontal and close to the body, just under the arms.
Waist: measure at the narrowest point of your natural waist, above the navel. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Hip: measure horizontally around the widest point of your hips.
If you're between two sizes, size up — especially for jeans and fitted styles, which can run slightly small in the waist.

Which size label will I see?

Jeans, trousers, dresses, jackets and blazers use individual EU sizes (42, 44, 46...)
Some relaxed-fit styles (wide-leg trousers, casual co-ords, some shorts) group two sizes: 42/44, 46/48, 50/52.
Knitwear and leggings use S/M/L/XL. The letter-to-EU conversion is in the table above: S = EU 42–44, M = EU 46–48, L = EU 50–52, XL = EU 54.

Jeans and skinny styles: Only Carmakoma's own product descriptions note that skinny jeans can run slightly small in the waist — size up if you're between sizes. Stretch cotton mix means a size up will still give a close, flattering fit once the fabric relaxes.
Jackets and blazers: generally true to size. Chest measurement is the primary fit point, as jackets are cut with consistent ease through the hip and waist.
